The Pilot 60th Anniversary Coronation Pen is extraordinary because it has a special treatment to the pen cap and part of the pen barrel that makes it looks like molten gold against black lacquer background.  A kanji calligraphy word “寿” meaning “Longevity” to commemorate Long Live The Emperor was casted in 18kt solid gold on the turban.
